The wedding photo featured halfway down the page was taken on the island of Roatan in Honduras. It was quite a trip. There was a 2 day heavy rainstorm which ended around noon on the day of the wedding. Talk about timing! Let’s just not talk about bugs. Tropical weddings at sunset are beautiful, but don’t forget the bug spray.
As their site explains, this organization is strongly committed to helping those who have selflessly given to their country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries. Homes for Our Troops is building a home for SGT Mike Minard in Union Beach, NJ and we’ll be documenting the entire process.
Homes for Our Troops is a non-profit, non-partisan, 501 (c)(3) organization founded in 2004. This organization is strongly committed to helping those who have selflessly given to their country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries. We assist severely injured Servicemen and Women and their immediate families by raising donations of money, building materials and professional labor and then coordinating the process of building a new home or adapting an existing home for handicapped accessibility. The finished home is then given to the veteran.
3 Chicks That Click was honored to photograph the wedding of Jessica and Kris this past Memorial Day weekend. We had photographed Jessica’s sister Nancy two years ago.
Jessica and Nancy have a lovely family, and we were very happy to share another special day with them. Like Nancy, Jessica was a beautiful, joyous bride. We wish Jessica and Kris a lifetime of happiness, and congratulations to Nancy and Steve on their almost-here daughter!

On 6/15/09, Alyse was interviewed by the “Here Comes a Bride” web site. The editor was interested in learning more about the benefits of having a female photographer, as well as some hints for brides and grooms when planning the photo portion of their wedding.
